“Sai·Dun Yue and Dun Zhu”
A monumental theatrical achievement, this large-scale mythological dance drama represents the first complete score for such a production composed independently by a Tibetan musician. The work weaves traditional Tibetan melodic motifs with sophisticated orchestration, creating an emotional and narrative journey through ancient Tibetan mythology.
Premiered to critical acclaim in Beijing (1987), it earned the Ministry of Culture's Outstanding Literary and Artistic Creation Award and established Tsering as a composer capable of sustaining complex dramatic narratives through music.
